The Charity promotes and distributes
Christian literature and materials on
Christian Discipleship. The Charity also
runs courses for leaders and participants of
groups, within Christian Churches and
Christian Organisations, who are
considering, or have decided, to use these
materials to deepen thelr knowledge and

erience of the Christian faith.
The trustees consider that the charity has
complied fully with its duty in section 17 of
the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard
to public benefit guidance published by the
Charity Commission.

Courses in the UK
The main achievements of the charity, in
accordance with its objectives, is in the
education, training and building up of
people through the Study by Extension for
All Nations, theological education courses.
The benefits of the educational courses
within a Christian context are in mobilising
and training emerging leaders within the
local Church. The courses benefit the
Pastoral and leadership teams through
encouragement of outreach programmes
and community-based projects. The
material has been of particular benefit to
diaspora church communities.

Uganda Project and Programme
SEAN UK, continues to play a vltal role in SEAN
Uganda TEE, using Its UK experience to provide
advice and training to the NGO Board and
Administrator in all aspects of Theologlcal
Education by Extension Programmed Learning
and Pastoral training. Funds to support the
ministry in Uganda have been received by
SEAN UK and directly by SEAN Uganda from
individuals and Fu nding organisations, The
Uganda NGO is proactive in its mission to serve
rural churches and refugee camps across
Uganda using the SEAN theological education
courses and in serving the local community in
Ndejje township. Community programmes
include a medical centre, education in health,
working with youth, disabled, elderly, mothers
and babies, a children's library and many other
community help programmes.
Progress is continuing towards achieving
SEAN'S objective to enable the Uganda
Programme and Project to become self-
sustaining.

The receipts in respect of charitable
activities in the UK amounted to £8,232
(2023: £9,244). Payments amounted to
£8,090 (£8,931). The resultant net income
for the year was £142 (2023:£313).
Unrestricted cash funds carried forward at
31st March 2024 amounted to £1,074
(2023:£962). Restricted funds carried
forward amounted to £80 (2023:£80).
Donations received for support of projects
managed in Uganda by SEAN Uganda
amounted to £22,442 (2023.. £21,020)
Expenditure amounted to £23,496
(2023:£20,854). The resultant net
expenditure for the year was £1,277 (2023:
net income £166). Restricted funds carried
forward for the Uganda Project at 31
March 2024 amounted to £74
(2023:£1,405).

Independent examiner's report to the trustees of SEAN UK
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of SEAN UK for the year ended 31 March
2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of SEAN UK you arc responsible for the preparation of thc accounts in
accordance with the requiremcnts of the Charities Act 2011 ('tlie Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of SEAN UK'S accounts carried out under section 145 of the
201 l A¢t and in carying out my examination I have followcd all the applicable Directions given by
the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confJrn] that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
accounting records were not kept in respect of SEAN UK as required by section 130 of the
the accounts do not accord with those records. or
3. The accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements concerning the forni and
coiitent of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other
than any requirement that the accounts give a 'trne and fair view, which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
