In preparing the annual report arml financkql statements of the charity. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY AND STATUS The fijnd was gstablished under a Declaration ofTrust dated 13 Dernber 2003. RISK MANAGEMENT The Iruslees have reviewed the risks facing the charity. This has involved identifying the type of risks the charity faces and means of miligaling those risks. The main financial risk lo the charity is reduced donations. RESERVES POLICY The trustees consider the level of reserves required is sufficient lo ensure the charity is able to maintain the historic level of ongoing activities for the foreseeable future. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRUSTEES The Charities Act requires the Iruslees lo prepare financial slalemenls for each financial year, which give a true and fair view of the slate of affairs of the charity al the end of the year and of the incorning and outgoing resources for the year then ended. In preparing those financial slalemenls, the trustees are required ID select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consislenlly, making judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent. The trustees musl also prepare the financial slalemenls on an ongoing concern basis unless It is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue ils aclivilies. The Iruslees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any lime the financial position of the charity and enable them lo ensure that the financial slalemenls comply with the Charities Act 2011. The Iruslees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES The Charity continues lo achieve ils aims and objectives on a basis similar lo that of previous years. In the year lo 30 April 2021 £27,53912020 £16,092) was raised from charitable donations. During the year 2 former players were assisted with grants lolalling £12,79112020 £20,558). I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the trust for the year ended 30th April 2021. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111"the Act°}. I report in respect of my examination of your charity's account5 as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 I'the 2011 Act'l. In carrying out my examination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515) Ibl of the 2011 Act.
