Objectives and activities

The trustees. policy is to ensure Ihat the resources avaikble to the company are effectively ￿MinIStered to the

the requiTemenls as prescribed by the Charity Commisson. These obj'eclives remain unchanged, and in planning
the activities the Charity has tsken into considerab.on the guidance of the Charity Commission in providing public
benefft.

Achievemenls and perfornian
This financial yeaf stsrted as Cowd ￿$triCt￿$ ￿tre beginning lo lrft and the chu￿￿ was able to ￿luM to
unre$tri¢ted gatherings. All our congregations were able lo continue in their venues and saw a strong return and
even post Covid growth. A swnificant event for the church was in January 2022 when our Founding Pastor
Wolfgang Eckleben was diagnosed wth Can￿r. The elders, staff and leadeiship teams did a magnificent of
covering as needed. and this lumed out to be a grovrth catatysl in many ways. It also ac￿erated the process of
idenlfying and preparing a Lead pastor succession ￿aTr for the V4est kensington Congregation. 7Mth the aim of
appointing a new lead pastor couple in January 2023_
A few other highlights of the year were".
The Wesl Kensington corKJTegabon has a speufic OFQ￿ttJnty lo C￿linUe the lease of Ihe V*hole
Beaumont Avenue building wlth only a 10 week notice period. In December we We￿ notified by the
landlord that the lease would end in early 2022. and that there was no option for us to stay. The end date
kept being extended, and eventually we negotiated lo &gn a new one year sub-lease with new main
tenant5 of the building. This was finalised in August 2022 arKI we moved to the east wng of the building..
We will be negobaling for an extension on this lease early in 2023.
We started an outreach group in Hun￿.￿dOrt, near Cambridge. and this is building momentum towards
being another plant in 2023. They are opefating as a separate financaal department wrthin Every Nation
London.
Our Slough congregation had a EeadeTship tran￿"On *ryth Greg and Suzanne Abreght reloeating to
CardrN to lead a new thurch plant for us there.

We conts.nued to invest in the wder GOEUROPE2040 vision, ￿1¢h is 'thal by God's grace we will plant
a campu$-rea¢hing church in every European nation by 2040.. In partnership wrth our Europe Every
Nation churches we have new works started in Lisbon. Glasgvm. Zagreb. aTrJ Sweden, aNJ doing
missions and scouting tn.ps to vanous new nattons in Europe.
Financial review
The Ministry is entirely dependent on the freewll giving of the members of the c(ryefv' n. 11 was encouraging
to See gO￿j grovrth in the number of individu¥s who regularly SUPFX)rt the ministry financially.
Gross income remained rdatively the same compared to Ihe previcrtts year. and we ended the financial year %
£355.28412021.£354.772) surplus overall.
In this financial year post cowd all the congregations once more have been pawng for venue rental, but
nevertheless the overall finanoal pOw1￿n was strong and a￿e to fund all our missional priorities_ We also
received one very signif¢cant finanaal contributs'on in the West Ken&ngton congregation, with which we were able
to funLI the development costs of the new meekn.ng space5 in the BeaumontAvenue building.
Allocation of income
Our general guidelines for giving alloca'on from gross chwch income thi5 yearwere as follows.
1 Ooh of gross church income is set aside for supwting the greater Every Nalion vision. half150AI of
which is used for wional European apostolic ministry. and haw for the international apostolic ministry, all
of which is in alignment with our ststed objectives The Directors confimi that the aetlvltles of both the
Every Nation European and Internat￿nal mini5ty that we 5UPPOrt with these monies are fvlly in line with
the stated objectives of our charrty. Every Nat￿n Intematimal is acuedrted by the Evangelical Counul of
Financial Accountability in the USA, the finanaal statements and acts'wlies published for public
access and 5CTubny on the websrte at VMV4.ecfa.org. We receive quarterly report5 from the International
funds lo account for income they have received from us. The EN Inlemalional Aposldit Team is tasked
with the responsibilty of monitonng and direcling Ihe use of Ihe intemalional finances.
Each congregats'on further contributes 15% of gross income to a central department lund whith fijnds am
the a¢Xivrties and ministries which we deem lo be mcrte effectivety done in synergy, rather than as
individual cOng￿gatIOns. These specifically include the finan(aal administration, senior ovelsight,
website, database. HR fvnclions. combined events. missions. church planting initiatives
The remainder of each congregalkjn's fwKls are used diredty iowards local congregation ministy costs.
Reserves
We aim to hold a general unrestricled reserye fund {the ¢(￿tingencY fund) of £70.000, which is roughty
equivalent to three months, worth of operating budget_ This is deemed r￿eSSary for ensuring uninlerrupled
continuity of the activit￿$ of the ￿MpanY &nce the regular tithes and offen'ngs are not in any way guaranteed. In
the event that this contingency fijnd drops belcw this agreed minimum, cmjr policy is lo reset this contingency
fund to this level at the end of every finarKial year from unrestrTrthd reserve (￿d$.
In addilion to Ihe restricted property funds, y￿ also have an unrestrithd fvnd"Comrwnity Presence Fund. which
consists of general fvnds saved in prewous years and set aside for initialives and opportunities that arise for the
purchase, lease, rent or refuth"shment of pfoperty by we are able to more effectively establish a Ksngdom
presence in the heart of Ihe communty. At year end the West Kensington fund for this stands at £723,003.

Europe. The amounts and lengths of support are deuded by the trustees based on infom)alion provided by the
churches. We do this because of OUT convith.on that planting rlew churches is one of the most effects've ways of
advancing the objectives of our charity in the greater European ￿nteXt.
Risk managemenl

Financial risks.. In the light of the consistency of ¢wr I￿rne levels over the past fthv years, and our reserve
held. we do not rJJrrently foresee any factors that are likely to pul Ihe chanty's financial perfomwi¢e at risk.
Future plans
We believe th* our core aclivities are ddivering strongly to fuhllling our mission. and therefore our main focus 1$
to continue ￿nCentratIng on running these well. Areas in we wll be seekn.ng to advarKe and add in this
financAal year and going forward indude..
In our Vlesl Kensington congregaticffi we will be actively seeking to secure a longer term lease on the
whole or part of the building at no 7 BeaumontA¥enue.
Further our reserve funds are held for the purpose of estsblishing a pemianenl place ol presence in this
communty through the purchase and redevelopment of a suitable property. We contsnue to save for this
purpose as we are able. recognisiry thal Ihis wil r￿ulre a vast sun in the area of LorKlon vthere we
believe we are calkd to be preserrt as a church.

church plants in Europe. induding the NethertarKls. Glasgow. Romania. Portugal and Sweden

Budget for 2022123
The budget set for the next finanaal year 2022123 was largety unchanged from the year prior covid, except for
inflationary increases to salaries, and the increased costs for the property lease of BeaumontAvenue.
