**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC WITHIN THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF STOCKPORT ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT") IN MATTERS RELATING TO THE CARE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE, IN PARTICULAR THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF FOSTER CARERS AND TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND SERVICES TO RELIEVE THE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, OR OTHER CHARITABLE NEEDS OF SUCH CARERS AND THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THEIR CARE.

**Activities:** Stockport Foster Carers Association is a Registered Charity in England & Wales and is a Not For Profit Organisation focussed on supporting Foster Carers who work with Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council. The SFCA organise and fundraise for a number of events that have a direct impact on the quality of peoples lives in foster care.
