The collection was founded by Albert Edward 'Ted' Reed 11926- 20221 who had a keen interest in steam engines and fairground equipment, notabty mechanic81 organs. From Ihe 1960s onward. Ted expanded hi5 collection. The charity furthers its charitable purposes for the public benefft through the maintenance, repair, renovation, renewal and acquisition ol the fairground organs. their ancilliary equipment. and other artists'c works belonging to or in the process ol acquisition by the charity.
