The audited flnancial statements and annual report of rhe Livin8 Water Parish (the charitsble organlsatiowil are
presented by the Board of Trustees for khe fiKal yearending December 31,2023. The Board ofTrustees affirms
that the charitable organization's annual report and financlal statements are In accordance with the
stipulations and obliEations Dutlined in the Charities Act 2011 and the Charities Act 2022. Furthermore, the
Board of Trusiees affirm5 that all present statutory obligations have been met. Sncludin8 those outlined In the
governing dotument of the charitable organlsation and the Statement of Recommended Practlse, whlch is
appllcable to charitie5 preparin8 thelr accounts in 3ccordan£e with the Financial Reporting Standard IFRS 1021.
Structure, Governance and Management
CONSTITUMON
The LNing Water Parlsh is a reglstered charity establlshed for publlc beneflt under a Deed of Trust dated
the 14th of August 2003, as revlsed on the 310 of September 2014 and Is a reglstered charity with charity
number 1101824.
The Charity Is controlled by its governln8 document, a Trust Deed and constitutes a trust.
Furthermore, alon6side the aforementioned aspects, many control policies are formulated in
collaboration with our governing document and overarchin8 8overnment re8ulations, seNing a5 a
framework for the routlne functioning of operations.
b. METHOD OF APPOINTMENT OR ELECTION OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The management of the charitable organisation is the re5ponslbllily Of the Board of Trustees, who are
appointed and co-opted under the tenns of the Trust Deed. There are currently five trustees who have
been appointed as of the 31"° December.

A newly appolnted member of the Board of Trustees undergoes an induction pro¢e55 that consist5 of an
Inltlal meeting with the Chair and other Trustee5. Subsequently, the member participales in a sequence

of brief meetln8s with the lead Pastor, who seryes a5 the Chief Executive and prowdes 8uldance on the
Trvstee5' powers and responslbllities. The Trustee recelves a Trustees Induction Pack that contains the
Charitable or83niiatSon's goveTnlnB documents. the newly drafted PastorslTru5tees Code of Conduct,
and excerpts from the Charty Comm5s5iofb'S Guidelines, such as Doc CC3 and CCII, 1.2., the Expenses
and Payment of the Trustees and the Essential Trustee-. What You Need to Know. Periodlcally, the
trustees wlll be reglstered in vaylous tralnlng events, conferences, ènd seminar5 in order to augment
thèlr governance capabllltles and ensure they remain updated on thelr responslbllltles ènd sector-
specific developments. These will facilitate adherence to relevant laws and offer the necessary degree
of confidence In the perforrnance of thelr re5ponslblllties.
ORGANISATIONAL sfRUCTURE AND DECISION MAKING
The organlsatlon'5 8overnan¢e is wholly governed by the tems of Its Trust Deed. notwlthstandln8 the
presence of an inspiratioTral senior pastor. Therefore, the Charity is strurtured 50 the Board of Trustees
meets re8ularly to manage Its affairs. The charlty's day-to-day adminlstrationlmanagement is delegated
to the Lead Pastor, who promptly reports un the charity'5 operations to the trustees. The relationship
between the pastors and the trustees is regulated vla Its PastorslTNstees Code of Conduct document.
Nonetheless, the actlve Involvement of the 8oard of Trustees Is cruclal In safeguardlng the welfare of
the charlty, partlcularly In 51tuations where there is a substantlal r15k and the potential consequences for
the charlty are slgnlficant. Board meetings are docvmented in mlnutes and di5semlnated to trustees
wlih artion items and responsibilities. The mlnutes seNe as an endurlng ￿Cord of the board's decislon-
making proce55.
RISK MANAGEMENT
The irustees understand their obligation to identify and assess the rlsks to which the charity is
susceptible, In addition to ensuring that approprbate safeguards are established to mi1183te the
possiblllty of fraud and error. The Board of Trustees has adopted a rlsk evaluatlon methodoloEy that
includes the perlodic Identlficallon and evaluation of risks. which ultimately leads to developlng
strategles to mitigate the Identified rlsks. One of these measures conslsts of t¢nductlng routine legal
health checks to isse5S the organisation's operatlonal health at any Biven time. Durlng the period under
review, 3 periodic health checkwas perfomed to evaluate the charlty's risk level and ensure its interes15

organlzation's susceptibility to substantial rlsks and promptly adjust to the severity of an¥ possible new
rlsks. The TrLtstees are certaln thal the existing 5Y5tems are sufficient to mitigate the organization's
vulnerabllity to SiEnificant risks and promptly account for the gravity gf any emerging risks. The Trustees
have, therefore. undertaken an assessment of the Most substantial risks to which the Charity mi8ht be
susceptible. Among the primary concerns is ensuring that the charity has adequate pollcles In place to
protett against the mosl critical operatlonal and flnanclal résk5. in additSon to the business risks to which
it 15 exposed. The Trustees have implemented effective measures to reduce the likelihood of these
identified risks materialisin8. One such measure is the creation of o Policy Dlgest, which comprehen5ivety
addresses the Critical areas of potential risks that may impede the charity's effective operation.

Significant differences were observed in thi5 tiscal year compared to the prevlous year, which
commenced durlng the eommunlty's recovery from the prolonged effects of the gtobal pandemic.

Llves was the church's central vision theme. The charStable organlsation declded to perslst with the
adaptlve approaches utllised to benefit further ihe resldents of the South Wimbledon wlon, its
desi8nated area. As a result. the charitable organi5ation continued to employ the folk)wing 5trategies-.
Provision of pastoral care for beneficlartes, Includ1￿ continued communication with our
members throughout and Wond the lockdown, as we have done in prior l¢xkdowns. We gave

The mission of the Living Water Pèrlsh, whlch was to bring loy into the lives of community members through
service and the connection of indlviduals wlth God, was sustained and upheld. Since the onset of the pandemic
four years 380, numerous individuals have been granted the opportunity and convenience to participate in our
events remotely via tethnologically advanced means as an alternative to attending in-person gotherings.
However. notwlth5tanding Ihe sustained prosperity of both in-per50n and online 8atheiings three years
subsequent to the lockdown periods characterised by the prevalence of online meetings, this evolution has
failed to dlssuade numerous Indlvidua15 from partlclpatlnE in physlcal fellowshSp among church members, an
endeavour attively advocated by the organlsatlon for multiple reasons, intluding safeguarding the mental and
social well-belng of its members.
A profound appreciation 45 extended to the numerou5 volunteers who devote their tlme each week, includ￿nE
evenings and weekends, to assist the church. As a result of their dedication, support, and asslstance In
advancing activities that bring the communlty c105er to God, the Livin8 W3ter Parlsh 15 highly appreciative of
these volunteers.

The Llving Watèr Parish ha5 been bestowed with the dlvlne mandate to serwe the local communltythrough the
followln8 means.. educatlng Indivldua15 about the Bible, introdueing them to the purpose that God has
established forthem in the world. and furnishing them wilh the necessary re50urce5 to caryy out that purpose
effectfvely.

approach. ChLtrch gatherings were conducted in physical and virtual formats, during which members delivered
talks In diverse formats and subjects to clarify further and elaborate on the Church's mlsslon and objective.
The Living Water Parlsh seletted diverse themes for ihe month5 under review, which resulted in the
development of multiple actwlties and programmes olmed at teaching attendees about the concept of impatt
and our resportslbilities and roles In ensuring that our interaction5 wlth society and others have the mos¢

premlum on their spiritual and physlcal welfare by ensuring the continued operalion of the Prayer Cells for
Men, Women, and Youth, whlch were established three years a80, to atten(I to their spiritual requirements.
Additionalty, LWP ensured the material welfare of her members by consistently deliverln8 monthly food
hampers.
Each of these min15tratlons and outreaches has made a unlque contribution to the betterment cif the
conBregation at Living Water Parish. These contributions Include participation In monthly Yoruba servlces. Igbo
services, weekly Bible studles, vlgils, communion, Sunday worshlp seryice5, and youth Services.
An additional noteworthy occurrence during the period under tonslderation year is the periodlc prayer
sessSons known as "PreseNè Your Seed.. whlch are devoted to both born and unborn children. This was held
from 7:30 a.m. to 9..00 a.m. on the third Sunday of the initial nine months of each year. It effectively fostered
a sense of connection among its members regarding the value and importance of the firstborn of each familv.
which is deeply ingrained in the cvlture of the majority of church members. While this is a yearly occurrente
for the charity, the 'Preserve Your Seed" prayers were especially significant for this year because the vision
Was founded ten years ago. The year under consideration marked the culmination of the organlzation's tenth
anniversary.
Thirty days were devoted during November to prayer. fasting, and solld Instruction re8ardinB the power of the
Holy Spirit. This was conslstent with the theme Df the month the Holy Spirit. This activity facilitated the
partlclpants, trarbsformation into conduits of divine power. It sparked spiritual Teverence and satlsfactlon In
the executlon of God's purposes, specifically strengthening our bond wlth the Third Person ol the Trinitv.
These strategies, in addition to our diverse array of activlties, are in accordante with the charitable objectives
of the charltable organi5dtion. Con5equentty, The Livlng Water Parish's diverse laitiatives and gatherings
contribute to the continuous worldwide Spread of the ChrSstian faith.
