The trustees present their report for the year ended 5 April 2024.
Constitution
The charity, Y&B Charitable Trust was established by Trnst Deed and is a
registered charity number 1101816. Its addr￿ is RICO House George Street

The charity's trustees are required to apply the income for such charitable
purpose or purposes or in the furtherance of any such charitable object or objects
as they shall in their absolute discretion from time to time as they think fiL
The Trustees confirm they have referred to the guidance contsined in the Charity
Conimission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the trust's aim
and objectives and in planning future activities and setting the donation making
policy for the year.

Statement of Trnstees, Responsibilities
The Trustee's are required under the Charities Act 2011 to prepare financial
statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the charity's
financial activities during the year and its financial position at the end of the
finanaal year. In preparing those financial statements giving a true and fair
view, the board of tr￿SteeS should follow ￿st practice and:

Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
State whether applicable accounting standards and statements of
recommended practxce have been followed, subject to any departures
disclosed and explained in the financial statements.

The trustees are also reSPon￿bIe for keeping propeT accounting records which
disclose with reasonable accuracy the financial position of the charity and which
enable them to ascertain the financial position of the charity to ensure that the
finanaal statements comply with the requirements of applicable law and
regulations. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity
and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud
and other irregularities.

Independent examiners report for the trustees
For the year ended 5 April 2024
I report on the accounts of the Tn￿t for the year ended 5 April 2024 which are set out on
pages 4 to 5.
Respective responsibilities of trnstees and e￿iner
As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.
You consider that the audit Tequirement of section 144 of the Charities Act 2011
(the Act) does not apply. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of
procedures specified in the General Directtons given by the Charity
Comniissioners under section 145(5)(b) of the ACL whether particular matters
have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examinefs report
My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with the General Directions given
the Charity conmil￿0ners. An e￿i￿tiOn indudes a review of the
accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also indudes consideration of any unusual items
OT disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequendy do not express an
audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
Independent examinds Statement
In connection with my exaniination, no matter has come to my attention:
(l) Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the
requirements
(I)
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Actr
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to
comply with the accounting requirement of the Act

(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a
proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Accounting Policies
These accounts have been Prepared under the historical cost convention and in
accordance with applicable accounting standards and the charities Statement of
recommended practAse on accounting by charities (Charities SORP FRS 102) and
the aiarities Act 2011).
Recognition of incoming resources
Investment income is recorded when receivable and represents rent
received from investment properties.
Voluntary income and donations are recorded on a receipts basis.
