|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|During the year the charity raised £47,451<br>in donations.<br>This enabled the charity to provide kosher<br>food and wine for the Jewish New Year<br>and at Passover, where otherwise the<br>availability is difficult to obtain and<br>expensive.<br>The charity arranged for vital works to be<br>carried out in the soup shelter in Korosten<br>Ukraine.<br>The charity provided educational material<br>for children.<br>In this way, the charity has benefited the<br>community of Vilednik in helping them to<br>maintain and follow their Jewish faith and<br>traditions as well as provide some relief<br>from poverty.<br>The charity has also provided help and<br>support to several Jewish families from<br>Ukraine who have sought refuge amongst<br>the local Jewish community in North<br>London.|
