Activities
We raise funds and donate to selected cancer projects in South Yorkshire, 8 societies, organisations and hospitals were beneficiaries of the fund. We raise money through the resale of second hand goods. All monies taken(except running costs) in the shop are donated. All staff are unpaid volunteers. Year ending 31 September 2013, ?66500 was shared between the 8 beneficiaries.
Objects: 1) The Relief Of Persons Who Are Suffering From Or Who Have Suffered From Cancer By Making Grants Of Money Or Otherwise To Or For The Benefit Of Such Persons By Donations To Hospitals Treatment Centres Or Other Charitable Funds For Persons Suffering From Or Who Have Suffered From Cancer And;2) To Promote Encourage And Generally Advance Education In The Research Care And Treatment Of Cancer
