Creatively crafted. they are intended to enhan￿ church Sunday schools by providing comprehensive content from all Superbook episodes. Subscribers receive unlimited access to lesson materials. induding Zrt and craft activities. to bring Bible Stories and concepts to life for children. In January 2023 we pivoted our focus on church partnerships in the UK. With kingdom building in our focus and in line with our goal to see I million people find salvation. we have decided to give Superbook Academy to churches and schools at no cost. We believe this will be the start of a more sustainable church partnership offering. Once such charity that continues to use Superbook Academy resources is Sporting Mar4els, a Christian charity based in the Rhondda Valleys. South Wales. UK. Rhondda is a community that faces many challenges, and for their teenagers especially. the pressures have never been more intense. Drugs, alcohol excess, teen pregnanty, violence, and Criminality all contribute to the problem. Add in the more general issues of ill-health. unemployment and the fact that the 2001 Census concluded that Rhondda was the poorest part of the UK. it is easy to see why Sporting Marvels want to work within the communities there, shinln8 the Ilght of Jesus into the darkness. The children love the engaging videos where 5uperbook chararters inspire and influence positive behav￿urS. Superbook Translations At Superbook. we believed every child should have unhindered access to the Gospel. We now have one or more complete seasons of the reimagined Superbook episodes in more than 60 languages and dialects, and this year, in the UK we embarked on translating all five seasons of Superbook into British Sign Language. starting with season l. There are over 50.000 deaf children in the UK. and this initiative is aimed at connecting families with both deaf and hearing children to Jesus in an inclusive way. We translated a Couple of episodes and promoted these at Christmas and Easter as part of a free resource pack we made available online in return for new name sign-ups. These new name acquisition campaigns were to be followed up by conversion campaigns to show the impart of Superbook in the UK. Europe and beyond so that we can convert them into donors and partners to support our goal to see 'Every Child. Everywhere, hear the Gospel in their own langua8e. Following our successful Christma5 campaign. we collected 167 UK names to follow up with. Superbook Events & Outreach Sharing the Gospel is at the heart of CBN'S ministry. Through our animated Bible series, Superbool we are reaching a new generation with the Gospel. In May 2023. and for our second year our CBN and Superbook team in the UK organised two days of fun and engaging children's ministry at the Big Church Festival, the largest annual Christian music festival in the Unrted Kingdom. Many families with children visited the Superbook Big Show and the Superbook Mini Shows throu8hout the day. took pictures with Gizmo, and enjoyed watching Superbook episodes together. Gizmo and the Superbook team also appeared on the main stage, teaching hundreds in the audience how to dance to the Superbook Salvation Poem song. Page17 Christian Broadcastin Network UK Re of the Trustees for the Year Ended 31 March 2024 Media Produrtion & Broadcasting Throughout FY24 we continued to broadcast on mainstream Christian and secular TV channels. Through these broadcasting channe15. we are rai5in8 awarene55 of our international ministry and discipleship through our provision of holistic Christian content. CBN programming is airin8 in multiple languages and stations in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Europe, and Austrolasia. In October 2024 TBN made a Strategic decision to move away from our non-fee-paying partnership model and gave us an option to pay £75K for airtime to run several of our programmes. Becoming a paying client opens several options for us, including direct advertising, flexibility in content selection, and collaborative content creation to raise awareness of our family of ministries in the UK and Europe. Durin8 our discussion. we explored the possibility of partnerin8 Wtth them to create a mini-series documentary. which has seen great success in terms of viewership and response to C3115 to artion IcfA51. For example. their most-watched pro8ram in 2024 at that time was a Mercy Ship documentary, which has led to hundred5 of volunteers signing up not just in the UK but worldwide. We discussed the idea of a 5-week docu-series that they would film and produce. highlighting the story of CBN in the UK and Europe, examinin8 each pillar and initiative, with the opportunity for dirert ads at the start and end of each episode. Whilst this opportunity would have been beneficial to our development in the UK region, we did not have the available funds to commit and felt that our long-term partnership with Revelation TV which costs approx £250K per year was a better optiortr. We a150 surveyed a small sample size of our current donor base to ask them Why they give to CBN,. Based on those responses we felt that the walking away from our agreement wtth TBN was a lower risk. We continued the completion of our studio revamp in preparation for delivering MO￿ versatile content for both broadcast and digital platforms. The purchasing of three new cameras and lens to give us better shooting ranges and the ability to have le55 time in edit. 5UPPOrting our news top deliverer more content and stsrt the planning for our new UK testimony show which is now scheduled for distribution in FY26. DEVO is designed to enrich a Christian's relationship ￿llth Jesu5 and empower them to Share their faith. We are actively direrting traffic towards both our DEVO website and the new DEVO YouTube channel. Our primary goal, in addition to our core digital objertives. is to expand the viewership on YouTube, enabling u5 to monetise the platfomi and generate revenue for general fund5. Simultaneously. we are focused on increasing traffic to our website. which aids in enhancing our Google ranking. Furthemiore, this drive introduces visitors to the broader CBN Europe ecosystem. This transition also allows the broader European region to continue its development under the leadership of Mark Dijkens. CBN Balkan visit to a Catholic kindergarten in Osijek. The children watch Superbook every day and know the words to all the Songs. God is really opening doors with the Catholic church! Superbook Season I to 4 episodes in Polish language were aired in Poland on national broadcaster TVP. our partnership with TVP continues to bear fruit in the INes of thousands of children every month. In partnership with our ministry partner OneHope. we printed 20,¢J)O copies of the Superbook 'Book of Hope., sharing the gospel in a fun and engaging way in churches, Superbook aubs and holiday clubs. FY24 Q2: July- September 2023 In August we hosted the first CBN Europe Ci)ntent Strategy Sumrnit. in our CBN Germany office, inviting leadershipi key media and marketing staff from the UK Netherlands, Germany, Croatia. PolarMI and Ukraine. as well as OB, OP and Superbook managers for a 3-day event. The summit also included a Data Protertion and Information Security workshop, led by our Data Protection Officer. All teams were greatly encouraged as we met in person to learn. share and collaborate. CBN Portugal team in partnership with the l(xal church shared the Good News of Jesus at the local beach in Portimao. We shared the gospel during mini-golf. sand-sculpting and beach volleyball and distributed water bottles with the scripture from John 4.13, sharing about the true Living Water that only Jesus can gT¥e. The children loved meeting Gizmo at the beach! The Week of Jesus festival in Poland wa5 held in its capital. Warsaw. and our Superbook team screened the Prodigal Son Èpisode in Polish with games. songs and dance. Many people walking though the Old Town stopped, watching and listening to the Bible story and taking pictures with Gizmo! Produrtion of our very first Dutch video serie5 for 50cial media with inspiring content to reach Dutch speaking audiences with the Gospel message. FYZ4 Q3: Ortober- December 2023 Polish Superbook team attended a national conference of the Evangelical Polish Movement, connecting with other ministries and organisations to share CBN'S family of ministries including Operation Blessin& Orphan's Promise and Superbook. Superbook event held at the training centre for Ukrainian refugees in Zabki, Poland, which provides support to Ukrainian mothers and children who settled in Poland. Yhe First Christmas. episode was shown followed by artivities and each child received a Superbook sweet box with the me55age"Jesu5 loves you". A Superbook screening took place in a Catholic church in Krakow. The church hascommitted to regular screenings of Superbook to impact children with the Bible stories. FY24 Q4: January- March 2024 Public screening of "Superbook-A Giant Adventure". was held in Rzeszow and attended by local authoritie5, the Polish Scouts and over 120 children. More than 40 Bibles were given out and every child recetved a Superbook Gift box. COMACEP National Training for the Southern Region took place at the International Evangelical Church of Algarve in Loulé. Over 50 teachers and educators engaged in learnin& exchanging experience5. and gearing up new candidates for teaching Evan8elical Moral Religious Education. Superbook Academy was irrtroduced and has been widely approved by schools with over 100 teacher5 actively using the research across PortU8al. In March, CBN attended a conference to focus on ministry in Central Asia. along with representative5 of the partner organisations we work with in countries like Tajikistan. Uzbekistan, Kazachstan and Kyr8yZStan. During the Conferen￿ we hosted a Superbookwork5hop. Sharing resources with conference attendees including Superbook Academy and the Superbook Bible App. Superbook is widely used in the Central Asia re8ion in Russian language and dubbing has been completed of Superbook SI-S3 in Uzbek language. This was funded by the USA. however Regional Director Mark Dijkens was in attendance. Our "Caravan of Hope" project in Tajikistan succeeded to open crisis centres near the border with Afghanistan, providing a5515tance to women and children who INe in the border areas and need urgent care and protection. In January, we released a Dutch CBN video series about'christ making things ne￿, referring to the new year. The vTrdeo serie5 are short messages to encourage others atthe start of the new year. EU Testimonies: -Hi, l am Lara. I live in Athens, Greece. Before I came to Greece 6 years ago. I had a good life and a big family in Iran. But I had to escape. During my escape via Turkey, I got to know people who praised God like I never knew. That touched my heart because I wa5 longing for God and for signs of his hand. Morocco. and Israel. One team member from these offites even joined the International Disaster Relief team5 on the ground in Morocco. The campaigns included social media content. newsletters. and dedicated landing pages on the CBN Europe websites. along with partnerships with BBC radio and TV stations in the UK. The funds raised were used to purchase food supplies and cover other disaster relief-related costs in Turkey, Morocco, and Israel. Disaster relief operations are currently active in Ukraine. Poland and Israel. with over 44,000 beneficiarie5 in Ukraine and Poland alone. CBN Europe offices effectively utilised their media outreach capabilities to engage donors in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands, resulting in a positive response, particularly for the efforts in Ukraine and Turkey.
