**Objects:** A)  TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF LANE END AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD TOGETHER DEFINED BY LANE END PARISH COUNCIL  (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.   B)  TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME, WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER PERSON OF BODY IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS.         C). PROMOTE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.   THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN

**Activities:** The Centre is provided for the benefit of the whole community, with a focus on young people, without distinction of sex, race, political or religious opinions. It offers facilities for recreation, entertainment, education, art, culture, conservation, animal welfare and local information and is self funded through rental and fund raising activities. It complements the other local facilities.
