**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF STOKE SUB HAMDON, SOMERSET AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS IN THE VISUAL ARTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PENCIL DRAWING,  PASTELS, WATERCOLOUR AND ACRYLIC PAINTING, AND THE PROVISION  OF FACILITIES FOR THE EXHIBITION OF THEIR WORKS

**Activities:** The Village Artists' Group meet twice weekly - with members who range from beginners to professional artists.  It flourishes as a warm and friendly group who have two things in common:  a keen interest in painting and drawing and a belief that talent and achievement can be developed by the mutual encouragement of each other's work.
