**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC CONCERNING THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSITY, COLLEGES AND CITY OF OXFORD BY UNDERTAKING OR PROCURING THE EDITING, PUBLICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SUCH HISTORY.

**Activities:** The Oxford Historical Society publishes archives, historical texts, and bibliographical tools about the history of Oxford (both the City and the University) and about the neighbouring villages & towns (following the boundaries of pre-1972 Oxfordshire). To date it has published 149 volumes, most of these dating from Georgian and earlier periods.
