I have prepared the draft accounts for 2020 which are shown above Assets (Cash in the NatWest and Redwood savings accounts) increased by over £10000. Income has increased considerably due to the funds received for the Litter Pick project , the appeal and the lottery. The successful bid of £9254 for the Litter Pick Project included staff costs and overheads recovery of £3432 of which £708 has been taken in staff costs in 2020 - it is expected that the remainder of the staff costs (£1452) will be used in 2021 ,present circumstances permitting. The appeal raised over £2700 including gift Aid and the lottery saw a profit of over £1000.

Overheads increased mainly due to the Litter Pick Project but not suprisingly expenses were down and this will probably continue during 2021 as online meetings become the norm.

It is anticipated that there will be no branch appeal this year and that the Finger Posts and Litter Pick projects will be completed and we will see a reduction in our reserves by about £4500 at the end of 2021 (dependent on income from the lottery) It is important that opportunities continue to be taken to maintain our income and Becky must be congratulated for her excellent work in securing funding for the Litter Pick Project.
