peacefully in Match 2024. Her &Sh￿ have be￿ laid to rest in the HilltLW mem(rial
garden along with hLT husband and driving force Ixhind the creatirn of b(xh CYPSF
d the HIlltLw f&ilitsc& Mr Rlry Waudby.
Whilst n(* durin8 thi's rqKxttng pen(xl. the Tn￿leeS also felt il was apw(4)riate to
rt the sad passin¥ of one of the Board of Trusiees. Mr Neville Gray Neville passed
away pcarefully in March 2025. Neville was a true gentleman. a l&ing fi¥ur¢ in
l(Kal fo￿ball with a strong atTilIati￿ lo We￿ella and NN'illuty f(MMball club and also
well respected Trusiee.

Bcrth Olga and Neville will be remembtted with f(xKIn￿ by all ttK)5e with
CYPSF and the Hilliop sports clubs.
As reported lam year. HumlKrsidc Firc and Rescue Service carrial I￿1 a Fire Safety
Insp￿1￿ in Slethnue House in Novanber 2023. The issues idents.fied during the
Insmi￿ and follow up actions wcr¢ sign￿1 off by the Fire Service in March 2024.
A new lease f(x the rent of the fl(K)r otTices in SledM￿e House was a￿d with
the Humbcr NHS Foundation Trust. The new lease will run fr(xn Swember 2024 to
September 2027 swing a valuable income stream fly CYPSF for ihe nexi 3 years.

year 2 and a further 2% annual Ml increase for year 3.

main arena. This will take place ai the end of thc 202312024 fo(xball season.
Disappoinlingty, the C(rttingham Tig(¥s c(xnmittee inf(Kmed the Trustees that they are
l(x)kin8 io move io a new SFthS facility in the coming years. CL*tingham Tigers is
progrcssive club and has successfully 8rown lis membership and rugby panicipation
by over 21XP/• sinc¢ 2018. The Club feds il is ￿tgroWIng the Hilliq) facilities and is
l(x)king for a new swyts ground which is -yngle use" offering them m(Ye aut(momy
with fr¢ed(xn to grow in the future. C(Xtingham Tigers have just sthned the pn)cess of
expl￿1n￿ n¢w (yportuniti&s and have a￿Ced to keq) the Truslees fully infornied of
devel￿)mentS. Coningham Tigers have inthcaied that they will leave Hilltop b
fore 2027 - thar 25 year lease of occupation is du¢ to expire in De￿nber 2029. In
the meanlime. the oihcr member clubs. 14eslella and Willerby AFC and Collingham
Cncket Club are exploring wh¢ther ihey will be ablc to lake up the slack in ienns of
playing space and financial c(xnmilrn¢nls Sh(￿ld Cottingham Tigers leave Hill-
Iq) in the coming yws.
The Trustees have Id￿tt.fied thai thc cur￿( Bwd of T￿￿e¢S needs to
stren8thaKd in the coming years. After approaching 25 years Xrvice, Ixxh Jthn
Kanp and Roger Waudby are looking io give ￿ tha"r positi(ms of Ch￿'rnian and

CYPSF was fornicd in Juty 14M by Roy wa￿ and s¢v¢ral (xher ILUI Iwiness
men who had a C(XnM(￿ love of srth. The iniiial dn.￿n8 f￿¢¢ behmd the f(Thiati(
of the F(wndats'(￿ was lo establish a new and Fxrnwient home fLY Cthngham Tigera
RLFC who were playin8 their rugby games ￿ the l(ul recreation gr(Jmd. The Hill-
t(y facilities were identified as a W￿lia1 sile since li had hI￿or1¢allY a stxyts
ground. The land and building w¢r¢ purch&sed by Roy Waudb), aThJ v¢st¢d in the
name of the Ori￿n81 CYPSF Truslees. After renovatiim it became the pemianeni
home of Cottingham Tigers RLFC. The Tn￿leeS also inviiaj Wesiella and Willertry
Fooiball Club and Cottingham Cricket club ￿ pla), OD the facihtses. thereby makn'n8
CYPSF a multi swyts foUndatsl￿.
3. FII%ANCIAIS
Following the 'tro￿ and branch- financial review which I￿k place ai the aml of
2023. (￿ty shared colls were incw1￿ into the 2024 b￿18¢1. Any expenth'ture
deemed to k f(x the benefii of one Iw two clubs (e8 weekly cuts of the playin8 fields
rather than fortnightty cuts of the playing fields) was ranoved fr￿n ihe b￿Jg￿ and
ihese ￿ arc ¢ithcr carried (Mll ty (Y wd threctty by the club neethng the acttvity to
take place. Furtherni(re. following the complai(m of the secffld pernianeni cncket
square ai Hilliop, 11 w&s agreed ihai Cc*tingham Cricket Club's renl will be increased

My examination was carried out in aCCOfdance with the General Directions given by the Charlty Commissioners. An
examination includes a review of the accountin8 records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts

seeking explanations from you as trustees concernin8 any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view
