CALVARY FAMILY CHURCH UK TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR 2024/25
Calvary Family Church (CFC) UK is steadily growing in membership especially at the head Church in Nottingham. Major programs in the year included the Church’s annual Theme Launch Conference, a Joseph Anointing Miracle Services partners meeting,various Church departments seminars, Leaders gatherings followed by a good number of Evangelistic programs around the City and the communities surrounding the Church and all its branches. This year the International headquarters of the Church decided to host a Pastors and Spouses Conference at the International Headquarters in Malawi where Administrative leaders such as Church Treasurers, Administrators and Secretaries also attended. One of the key decisions that was arrived at in this Conference was the revisiting of income generating activities by Churches and most of the key departments for the Church to be self sufficient financially.
Most of the Church’s planned programs took place inclusive of various Community Impact projects by the departments of the Church.The usual fundraising programs on the Church building project were successfully done during the year especially in the Nottingham Church culminating in the raising of close to £5000 in this year’s Harvest Sunday service alone. The Trustees have put a lot of efforts in bringing together all the branch Pastors to a round table discussion in order to come up with a number of more effective building project fundraising activities involving every member of CFC UK so as to redeem the Nottingham head Church building once and for all. Needless to mention that the efforts of the Trustees in this area over the past 2 years have borne a positive result in that 42 members from all across the Church nationally have managed to raise almost half the amount of the total that is in the building project bank account now.
This has resulted in the Church reaching an agreement in principle to buy with it’s bank though the mortgage figure is a bit lower than the price the landlord of the Nottingham Church building is requesting for. At the moment efforts are underway by Church leaders and members searching for a building for sale within Nottingham that may be close to the agreement in principle figure we have with our bank. The challenge at the moment is that most buildings that were identified as being close to our comfortable range were already hooked by successful bidders who went to the estate agents earlier than us. A few buildings we have identified as falling within our range are situated far away, the closest of which is almost 40 kilometres outside Nottingham which will be a big challenge for most of our
members to travel there every Sunday. All the same the search for a suitable building in a convenient location to the Church membership is still on.
As such the Church continues to pay quite a hefty monthly rental fee for this Nottingham building till the time the building search will yield positive results to us. Once we achieve this goal, it will mean the monthly rental fees will be dealt away with and the monthly mortgage fee will be almost half or slightly less than half of what the Church is paying as a rental fee now. We hope and pray that this will surely come to pass soon.
Once that is done, our current accounts presented on behalf of Nottingham and Manchester Churches will be breaking even or registering good positive balances. At the moment there are slight differences on income and expenditure levels here and there.
