AMU has completed the pilot phase of the investment project there has been positive and negative aspect of the testing phase.
I will start with the positive:
AMU has emerged as one of the leading players in the poultry Industry.
We now supply Day Old Chicks to farmers.
The DOC is of high quality
We had a confirmation from some farmers and a leading feed producer in Sierra Leone (lion poultry) that the birds can produce 98% a day.
We are exploring the feed shortage in the industry.
Management structure has been sorted, and the team are exemplary.
The building and facilities have been adjusted to aid air flow for the birds
High demands for eggs than we can produce.
Huge transformation in the building, the place look like an industry.
The next shipment of DOC is 2025 AMU is proposing to buy 3000 to 4000 chicks depending on the building capacity.
Huge investment opportunity with the right attitude.
Negative
There are barriers to entry, the cost of feeding chicks is high
The guinea Birds was not producing to expectation
Lack of corporations from investors.
No respect for each other and no dispute resolution
