Structurei govornance and management
The charity was formed on the 3 November 2003 and 18 an unlncorporated ¢hartty registered vrith the
Charity Commbsslon {Reglstration No. 1100486). The charity18 govemed by its Trust Deed.
The day to day affairs of the Charity are overseen by the Board of Trustees. The Trustees meet on
quarterty basls to conslder wuests for donations. as well as discjjssing cther p)lential reclplents.
Where there Ss a need for new T￿￿tees, these are klentmled and appointed by the exlsling Trustees. It is
not currently thg intention to appoint new Trustees but should the sltuatlon change In the future. suitable
recrTJltrnenl and tralnlng procedu￿$ will be applled.
The Trustees rev￿ th8 r18ks of the Gharity on a regular ba818 and have Implemented wllcles arKI
procedures lo mltigate exposure to these risks. In addl￿On a revlew of all financial rL8k8 Is undertaken on
a regular basLs.
Objectlves and activities
The objeclfves of the charity are to relieve case$ of need, hardship or distress of persons, to further the
education (includlng soclal and physical tralning) of persons, lo further the religious and other charitable
work of all Chrtstian denominations or any charlt2ble purposes for the general ben8fft of inhabitants in
any part of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshlre, Esgex and Hertfordshire.
The Trustees have ￿gard to the Charity Commlssbn's publ1¢ benefit guKlance.
The Smtth & Pinchlng Charitable Trust hold fundraising events to ralse money whi¢h will be donated to
local ¢haritles, projects and other causes whlch meetthe objects ofthe ¢harfty as described a￿ve.
Achlovornents and performanc•
The Ststemenl of FinanGial Activili8s for the year 18 $el out on page 4 of the financlal statements. A
summary of the financial results and the work of the ¢harity is sel below. The surplus1{def￿1tI for the
year wa$ £20,026 (2023- (£3.005)) leavlng total funds carried forward of £35,809 {2023- £15.583).
The Smith & Pinthing Charltable Trust ha$ Supported 14 (2023 - 15> Gharities duTing the year wlth
donatbns ranglr)g from £250 10 £4,075. In total £9,196 (2023 - £5,072) was donaled to a WKle raThJe of
local ¢harflie$, projects and other worthy causes durlng thg year.

Flnancial review
The reserves of the charity are unrestricted al the year end and are available for donations and lo meet
the costs of running the fundraising activities.
11 is the policy of the charity lo maintain reservos al a level which the Trustees think appmpriate after
onsidering the future commitments of the charity and the likely admlnlstrative costs of the ¢harity for the
next year.

The financial slalements have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended
Practice.. Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK IFRS 1021. W8 approve the fin2nci81 statements on pages 4 10
7 and confirm that the accounting records produced conslilule a true and correct record of all the
