Directors’ Report
The trustees have great pleasure in presenting their report on the affaires of Sircer Pasha Welfare Trust together with the financial statements for the period ended 30 June 2025. Sircer Pasha Welfare Trust is a registered charity, incorporated on 15 October 2013 as a company limited by guarantee.
Aims and objectives:
Its aims and objectives are provision of medical care and relief of need, hardship and distress of people in Bangladesh.

Activities
Activities of the charity during the period have been to raise funds in the UK and contribute to the cost of provision of medical care and others poverty relieving activities by Sircer Pasha Welfare Trust in Bangladesh where it is registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare at Jamalpur, Bangladesh and managed by a local management committee reporting to Sircer Pasha Welfare Trust in the UK.
Directors Remuneration
No director received any form of remuneration for their services. They also waved all of their out of pocket expenses incurred in discharge of their duties.
Results
The directors consider the results for the period ended 30 June 2025 in the United Kingdom, disclosed in the Trust’s financial statement, to be satisfactory.
The financial affaires for the Sircer Pasha Trust in Bangladesh have been audited by Nuru Azim & Co, Chartered Accountant Dhaka.

Statement of Responsabilities
Company law requires the Trust to prepare financial statement for each financial period giving a true and fair view of the state of affaire of the Trust as at the end of that period and of the profit loss for that period in preparing these accounts the Trust id required to:

select Suitable accounting policies and apply them consistenly

Make judgement and estimates that are reasonable and prudent

Prepare financial statement on the going concern basis, unless it is inappropriate to presume that the Trust will continue to operate.
The Trust is responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Trust and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act.
They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Trust and taking necessary steps for the prevention of and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

The charitable company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies act 2006 for the year ended 30 June 2025.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2025 in accordance with Section 476 of the companies Act 2006.
The trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for
-
(a) ensuring the charitable company keeps accounting records that comply with Section 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006 and
-
(b) preparing financial statement which give a true and fair view of the state of affaires of the charitable company as at the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial year in accordance with the requirement of Section 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirement of the companies Act 2006 relating to financial statement, so far as applicable to the charitable company.
These financial statement have been prepare in accordance with the special provisions of part 5 of the companies Act 2006 relating to charitable small companies.

Basic of preparing the financial statements
The financial statements of the charitable company which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been prepared in accordance with the charities SORP (FRS 102) ‘Accounting and Reporting by charities: statement of recommended practicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the financial reporting standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2015)’, Financial reporting standard 102 ‘The financial reporting standard applicable in the UK and republic of Ireland’ and the companies Act 2006. the financial statement have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
There were no material departures from the standard.
The presentation currency is £ sterling.
Critical accounting judgment and key sources of estimation uncertainty
The preparation of the financial statements requires the trustees to make judgements, estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported. These estimates ans judgement are continually review and are based on experiences and other factors, including expectation of future events that are believed to be reasonable under the circumstances.
Company status
The charity is a company limited by guarantee. The members of the company are the trustees named on the page 2. in the event of the charity being wound up, the liability in respect of the guarantee shall not exceed £10 per member of the charity and those who have ceased to be members within 12 months of the winding up.
Income
All income is recognised in the statement of financial activities once the charity has entitlement to the funds, or that it is probable the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.
Expenditure
Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there a legal or constructive obligation committing the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for an an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attribute to a particular heading they have been allocated to activities an a basis consistent with the use of resources. Grant offered subject to conditions which have not been met at the year end date are noted as a commitment but not accrued as expenditure.

2. Accounting policies – continue
taxation
the charity is exempt from corporation tax on its charitable activities.
Fund accounting
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restriction arise when specified by the donor of when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes. Further expectation of the nature and purpose of each fund is included in the notes to the financial statements.
Financial intruments
Basic financial instruments are recognised at amortised cost, except for investments in non-convertible preference shares or non-puttable ordinary shares which are measured at fair value, with changes recognised in profit or loss. Derivative financial instruments are initially recorded at cost and thereafter at fair value with changes recognised in profit or loss.
