Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financi81 statements as a whole are free
from material misslatemenl, whether due to fraud or erro(, and to Issue an Audilorfs roport that includes our
opinion. Reasonable assurarsce is a high level of assurancè, bul is not a guaranleg that an gudit conduthd in
accordanGe with ISAS (UK) will a￿ayS delecl a molerial misstalemgnt when it exists. Misstalemenls can arise
from fraud 01 error and are consKl&red malerkgl if, individually or in the aggregate, they COLtld reasonably be
expected to influencg the ewnomic deeisions of users taken on the basis of these financ￿1 statements.

Our approach to Klentfying and assesslng the rl8k8 of material mis8tatemenl in respect of Irregular￿les.
includlng fraud and non-compliance wbth laws arsd regulalKJns, was as folk)w8'.
the senior stalulory auditor ensured that the engagement team colle¢lThiety had the appropfiale

we identified the laws and regulations applicable lo th8 comp8ny through discussions with directors and
other management, and from our commercial knowledge 8nd experience of the charity sedor,.
we fwused on specific laws and regulations which we Considered may have a direct material effect on
the financial statements or the operations of the company, including the financial feporting legislation.
Companies Act 2006, taxation legislation, ant￿bribery, employment, &nd environmental and health and
safely legislation.,
we aBses5ed thè extent of complianc8 with Ihg lawB and regulations idantSfted above through making
8nquiries of management and inspecting legal correspondence., and
identified laws and regulations were communicated within the audit 18am regularly and the team
remained alert to instances of non-complk2nce throughout the audit.
We 888essed the Susceptibility of the companls financlal 8talemen18 to material misstal8ment, including
obtaining an underslandlng of how fraud mighl occur, by..
making enquiri8s of managgment as lo where they cons¢dered there was susc9Ptibilty to fraud, their
knowledge of aC￿al. suspected and alleged fraud., and
onsidering the intemal controls in place lo mitigate risks of fraud end non4ompliance with law8 and

To address Ihg risk of fraud through management bias and ovgrridg of controls, we..
performed anatytical proceduTes lo identify any unusual or unexpected relalionship3',
tested journal entries to identify unusual IransaclDns',
assessed whether jLKlgement8 and assumption6 made in deleryninirYJ the accountlng estimates set out in
Note 3 were indicative of potential bias.. and
investigated the rationale behind significant or unusual transactions.
In response to the risk of Irregularltles and non-compliance with laws and regulations, we designed procedure8

Becausè of the Inherent Ilmit81ions of an audit. there is # risk that we will not detect all irregularities, includirvJ
those leading to a materigl misstatement in Ihg financial statements or non-compliance with regulaliDn. This risk
increases the more that compliance with a law or regulation IS femoveLI trom the events and transactions
