Followin8 a successful crowdfunder. five members of our Arts (allect￿e were able to make a road trip to Scotland
ta vislt Richard Demarco and follow in the footstep5 of Joseph Beuys and Cpltic Connections. Thi5journey was a
fitting culmination Df the Big Conversation and 5ub5equently the FrEe Intemational University ha5 beEn
established ai Compass Arts. With lundraiiing from ESCC Making it Happen, the artists engaged in their first

ongoing effÈtt5 af rising costs. ThÈ dual itrpart of this financial cn5is has to diminish thè capaiity af
individuals to donate whilst 5imultaneousty increasin¥ demand foi our free creativÈ performance.
