## **Report to St Peter Revelstoke PCC** 

## **Noss Mayo Church Heritage Trust for the year to 31[st] December 2022.** 

The accounts of the Trust are with this report. They need little explanation as there only very few transactions. 

The receipts this year are in the main, the generous donations in memory of Garth Mumford whom you all know was a mainstay of this church for many, many years. His knowledge and memory is already missed. In his time the church ran smoothly without fuss because Garth was conducting much, very quietly from the undercroft! Additionally we received a very generous bequest on the death of  the wife of Revd Fairbrother. It was he who in his time created our Resurrection chapel and was very fond of the community of St Peter and the support received from Garth. 

On the expenses side, we replaced the old part of the vestry floor which was as weak as walking on paper! 

The other major amount paid out was for Architects fees in connection with the start of the tower repairs. There will be many more. .As you know this is a major project on which we are embarking and a fund- raising campaign will be necessary.  At time of writing, we have received the first Faculty to enable us to remove all the rendering on the inside of the tower. This will reveal exactly what is involved in the project. 

Additionally the trustees visit our Quinquennial Report on a regular basis and we address those items which are listed as most urgent. There are many, many items listed but that is the nature of these reports! 

We keep Faith and are sure the Good Lord will help provide!
