## **Charity Commission Report for Light For The Last Days in 2020.**

Charity Commission Registration Number: 1099651. Address: 54 Bridge Lane, London, NW11 0EH. Trustees: Mr Paul Duffett, Mr James Vickery. Director: Mr Antony Pearce.

Light for the Last Days was constituted as a charitable trust in April 2003 for the purpose of advancing the Christian faith. 6000 copies of the magazine are printed four times a year and sent out to around 4000 people on the mailing list. Further copies are distributed by those using them in evangelism or at public meetings. We also produce leaflets and booklets on the Bible and prophecy which are distributed through our members. Our website is www.lightforthelastdays.co.uk. This is visited by people from around the world and contains articles on Bible teaching and current issues and events

The magazine continues to be translated into French, German, Romanian and the Indian language, Malayalam. Ligia Luca translates into Romanian and distributes the magazine in Romania. She has also set up a Romanian website https://luminaultimelorzile.wordpress.com which is visited by Romanian speakers in many countries. Cornelia Kuruc translates the magazine into German and distributes it in Switzerland and Germany. She does this as a voluntary activity. Stephane Jacquemain translates the magazine into French and we distribute it in France and other French speaking countries in Europe and Africa. Rev Pappy Daniel translates the magazine into the Indian language, Malayalam and distributes our material in India. During the Coronavirus crisis he has produced thousands of leaflets with our help for distribution in the Kerala region of India. We have supported the work of Danijel Vukovic in Serbia who has translated some our materials and distributed them there. We have also supplied materials and funds for help in the work of Frazer Nauliya in Malawi.

Despite the restrictions placed on society by the Coronavirus crisis in 2020, we have managed to keep the work going and expand our readership. We have also seen large numbers of people taking up our offer to distribute copies of our SOS leaflet and 10 Signs of the Second Coming booklet around the country. We estimate around 150,000 copies of this leaflet have gone out and about 5000 copies of the booklet.

We have been able to expand the work through use of the Internet and social media and seen a growing interest in this means of getting our message out to a wider audience. We now have large numbers of people in contact with us via Facebook and the Internet, including many in India, Pakistan, and various African countries. Eric Martinez helped with this on a voluntary basis, until November 2020 when we

took him on as a full time worker with Light for the Last Days. Eric has been translating our material into Chinese and Spanish, and giving some help in the French work. He is multilingual and fluent in Spanish, English, Chinese and French.

Financial support for the charity comes from free will gifts from those on our mailing list. A number of people give regularly to the work under our Gift Aid scheme. We have a healthy reserve fund which is adequate to cover all anticipated expenses during 2021. We will continue to use our resources to produce and distribute the magazine and leaflets which contain Christian news and views about current world events in the light of Bible prophecy and teaching on the meaning of the Bible. All of this is available to the general public.
