-
COVID continues to have an impact in Cambodia. Tourist figures are down and reduced employment in the tourist sector means less opportunities for FDC trainees.
-
The pressure on the community program is intense. This resulted in a strategic decision to channel much reduced income to essential services as a priority. This includes the education programs, school meals and community support.
-
Attendance at FDC school is back up to pre-COVID levels educating over 800 students daily.
-
FDC continues through difficult circumstances to fight poverty, illiteracy and malnutrition.
-
Following changes in Cambodia law FDC now has an all-Khmer leadership team. The communication and cooperation between FDC and FDUK have improved. We look forward to working with the new Directors in the years to come.
