FD(UK) only works with FDC based in Cambodia. FDC and its Directors are all known by FD(UK)'s trustees. Section D Achievements and performance
- The tourist industry in Siem Reap collapsed overnight with the loss of all foreign visitors. This caused the closure of hundreds of tourism businesses in the city, with most members of our community losing employment indefinitely. Even with the Khmer Gov. providing immunizations throughout Siem Reap, the Covid outbreaks remain high and makeshift quarantine centres are operating at full capacity. Supporters held fundraising events where and when allowed to ensure funds could continue to be sent to FDC from the UK. The Training Centre and The School operate within the Khmer Government rules, opening as often as we can and teaching online when appropriate. Work continues with families suffering domestic violence. Incidents of DV have increased during lockdown. Families have not been able to afford their medications for chronic illnesses, which is in turn creating more medical emergencies for us to address. Local families cannot pay their meagre rents, and some face eviction. Our Community Support Department continues to make regular visits to the many slum areas to assess who is most in need and what is critical. Child predators and traffickers are increasingly preying on vulnerable families, and cases of abuse have risen dramatically. We continue to work alongside local police in apprehending offenders, while increasing our community education programs.

FD(UK) policy is to apply funds directly to supporting Feeding Dreams seven projects and avoid administration costs wherever possible. FD(UK) has successfully operated this policy by a combination of trustees and volunteers time.
