Activities
The Southern Holderness Resource Centre is a community venue which provides facilities and resources that support the community. The centre has a range of equipment to hire, offices to lease and function rooms to rent. Shores also is recognised venue for civil ceremonies etc, and an approved centre to deliver recognised qualification. It also accommodates social groups and community organisations.
Objects: To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants In And Around Southern Holderness (Hereinafter Referred To As The 'Area Of Benefit'), By Associating With The Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations, Other Agencies And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interest Of Social Welfare For Recreational Or Leisure-Time By Means Of Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education And Training Facilities And By The Provision Of Advice And Welfare Facilities With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life; And To Establish A Community Resource Centre And The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre; And To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of The Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Community Of Southern Holderness In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Society.
