Due to the Covid pandemic the majority off meetings, training sessions, mentoring and other events were done on Zoom or other means.
We have placed great emphasis on charitable initiatives and have endeavoured to ensure that these are given priority in our ministry. In accordance with our vision and mission statement LiCm continues to provide programmes to the community and the congregation. This is in keeping with our mission statement:
“Share the unconditional love of Jesus Christ by: reaching, preaching, teaching and equipping.”
Some initiatives taken are listed below:
Community Events
LiCm Members participation in local and international events in 2021/2022

Youth outreach – With emphasis on ministering to the needs of young people

Three times monthly outreach programme jointly with other local Churches in our town centre
Missions to South Africa

Mentoring ministers, pastors and supporting local congregations in various parts of South Africa

Overseeing the church in Mathiebestad, South Africa, due to their link to/coming under the umbrella of LiCm.

Leadership training locally and nationally on how to be effective leaders

LiCm Women’s Ministry
- Support to individuals as needed and getting together, which have included meetings, or one to one emotional or other support. Done on Zoom and WhatsAPP
LiCm Men’s Ministry
- A men’s meeting. Men are encouraged to attend and participate in seminars, forums and retreats to address topics of importance to men such as family, relationships, finances, health etc.
LiCm Youth Ministry
- Fortnightly teachings, discipleship and leadership sessions to empower young people with the skills to become good citizens.
Arise Arise Ministries (AAM) a subsidiary of LiCm

LiCm Children’s Ministry
- The Children church focuses on Bible based teachings for children. Lessons are taught using creative methods such as art, drama and music. All was held on Zoom

RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIS OF REPORT
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 March 2022
As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS’S STATEMENT
I have completed my examination on records provided. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or

the accounts do not accord with the accounting records
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
