**Objects:** A) TO SECURE, PROTECT, PRESERVE, DEVELOP AND IMPROVE BUILDINGS AND OTHER FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR ARCHITECTURAL MERIT IN THE PARISH OF MAWNAN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND, IN PARTICULAR, CHILDREN OF SCHOOL AGE IN TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY ARTS AND CRAFTS; AND THE ARCHITECTURAL, ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL HISTORY OF CORNWALL AND, IN PARTICULAR, OF THE PARISH OF MAWNAN..

**Activities:** The charity has purchased and restored The Old Blacksmith's Workshop, a listed building which gave its name to the village. The workshop is now let to a traditional blacksmith,a silversmith, a sign writer  and a contemporary furniture maker, to form a rural craft centre. As well as encouraging economic development, the project provides a unique educational resource for schools.
