Activities
The core activities of Everton in the Community include programmes in the following areas; Schools, Disability, Mens Health, Employment Programmes, Multi Sports, Social Inclusion, Women and Girls and Volunteer Programmes.Each programme is adapted according to the area of work to include educational and activity based learning to help improve the health and well being of those taking part.
Objects: (a) To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing Facilities For The Playing Of Football And Other Sports Capable Of Improving Physical Health; And(b) To Provide And Assist In Providing Facilities For Sport, Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Such Persons Who Have Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life; And(c) The Relief Of Sickness And Preservation Of Health Of People With A Disability By The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation For Such Persons, In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Opportunities For Competitive And Non-Competitive Sport To Assist Their Integration Into Society; And(d) To Advance The Education Of Children And Young People And To Provide Opportunities For Them To Develop Their Full Capacities And Enable Them To Become Responsible Members Of Society So That Their Conditions Of Life May Be Improved.
