Rumic Foundation Trust Trustees, annual report nd For the year to 2 September 2024 structure and governance Rumic Foundation Trust is an unincorporated registered charity established by a declaration of trust dated 1" May 2003. Objects of the Gharity The objects are to promote financial assistance to disadvantaged, sick or disabled young persons in the Furness, South Lakeland and Copeland areas of Cumbria to improve their health, provide for medical assistan￿ and to further their education and employment training. Flnanclal revlew and achlevements In the year During the year the charity received total income of £29986 (2023 - £10665), incurred expenses of £4469 {2023 - £11374) and made donations totalling £1136012023 - £3600). During the year they also purchased a new mini bus for £20860 {2023 - £Nill, this was funded by donations and the charity's reserves. The deficit for the year £6703 (2023 - Deficit £4309) was deducted from funds brought forward of £114192 giving a total of £107489 to be carried fo￿ard. This is split between £99689 on unrestricted reserves and £7800 on restricted reSe￿eS. Al donations made are entirely al the discretion of the trustees, there is Iherefore no formal policy on reserves other than to pay donations out of income so that the original gift into the charity is not depleted. Responslbllltles and basls of report As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Direclions given by the Charity Commission under seclion 145(5llb) of the 2011 Act. Independent examlner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
