Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
We have had a very busy year with applying and being successful in taking under 2 children within the pre-school. This took a bit of planning and involved lots of discussions within the team to make sure everyone was happy and to work out putting systems in place. We have only had three children under 2 and so far this year all the team have welcomed this change for Chuckleberries and feel it has been very successful. 30 hour funding for 2, 3, 4 year olds and now for under 2’s continues to be implemented across the pre-school which has led to an increase in numbers throughout the year. We are hoping with the new under 2 children this will help our numbers continue to stay at a consistent number. We have had some exciting additions to our outside garden space this year, adding a fun fort play area. Along with a fixed gazebo to provide some shelter in the cold weather and shade in the warm weather. We have continued to provide new toys including a range of sensory toys to help children whom thrive with these toys being available at the setting. We are very pleased to continue having our boogie bounce music lessons weekly.
