WE ARE EXTREMELY THANKFUL TO ALL INVOLVED. WITH THE LIFTING OF RESTRICTIONS OUR SPONSOR & OPEN DAYS COULD GO AHEAD & WERE HUGELY SUCCESFUL BOTH IN TERMS OF NUMBERS OF PEOPLE ATTENDING & MONEY RAISED. FUNDRAISING THIS YEAR OUR FUND RAISING HAS AGAIN EMBRACED SOCIAL MEDIA & ONLINE ACTIVITY, AND WE NOW HAVE AN INSTAGRAM PAGE. THIS IS ATTRACTINIG A WIDER AUDIENCE THAN BEFORE AND IS AN AREA TO FOCUS ON. WE CONTINUE TO LEVERAGE OUR MORE TRADITIONAL REVENUE STREAMS OF LOCAL EVENTS TAR 3 March 2012

WE STILL CONTINUE TO RAISE FUNDS VIA SOCIAL MEDIA WITH OUR FACEROOK FUNDRAISING PAGE & ON OBTAINING A GAMBLING LICENCE WERE ABLE TO HOLD AUCTIONS & RAFFLES OUR CRAFTERS HAVE ALSO MADE ISOME LOVELY ITEMS WHICH WE HAVE SOLD, AND THIS IS AREA THAT WE ARE EXPANDING WE HAVE HAD MANY KIND DONATIONS 

WE HAVE ALSO CONTINUED TO USE EBAY & ETSY SELLING PAGE TO INCREASE SALES. 

ALONG WITH OUR CALENDAR WE ALSO SOLD STRAY CAT RESCUE CHRISTMAS CARDS FEATURING SOME OF OUR FOSTERED KITTENS. 

WE STILL PERIODICALLY RECEIVE A VIP CLUB VOUCHER FROM PETS AT HOME WHICH IS ALSO USED TO BUY FOOD OR ANYTHING SPECIAL THAT IS REQUIRED. 

WE HAVE QUITE A FEW COLLECTING BOXES PLACED IN VETERINARY SURGERIES, SHOPS AND PUBS WITHIN BEDFORDSHIRE. ALL THIS IS WITHOUT THE REGULAR MONTHLY STANDING ORDERS, PERSONAL DONATIONS AND THROUGH OUR AMAZON WISHLIST, FOR WHICH WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL. WE ALSO INTRODUCED CATS AND CAKES EVENTS AT THE SHELTER, WHICH ARE VERY POPULAR AND WE WILL CONTINUE THESE. 

STRAY CAT RESCUE IS VERY GRATEFUL TO EVERYONE WHO HAS VOLUNTEERED AND HELPED TO MAKE THIS PAST YEAR A GREAT SUCCESS ENABLING US TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE CATS & | KITTENS WITH THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE & FIND THEM | WONDERFUL HOMES. 

## MEMBERSHIP 

WE HAVE 177 PAYING MEMBERS. EVERY PERSON THAT ADOPTS A CAT FROM US IS GIVEN A COMPLIMENTARY 1 YEAR MEMBERSHIP IN THE HOPE THEY WILL CONTINUE TO PAY FOR A MEMBERSHIP AFTER THE FIRST YEAR. 15 MEMBERS HAVE JOINED SINCE THE LAST AGM. SADLY, WE HAVE LOST 33 MEMBERS THIS YEAR. WE CONTINUE TO BE GRATEFUL TO MANY OF THE MEMBERS WHO DO VOLUNTEER WORK AT THE MAIN SHELTER AND HELP OUT AT & SUPPORT OUR EVENTS DURING THE YEAR.

As the charity trustees you are responsibte for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the 2011 Act”).
