TO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT INTO ALL ASPECTS OF 19TH CENTURY ART AND ARTEFACTS AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.3. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND SUPPORT OF CENTRES OF TEACHING OF ART IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO STUDENTS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES.
