For Birds Foundation (formerly ProAves Foundation) leads conservation efforts through science, strong community relations and protection of the most important sites and landscapes for birds and biodiversity. Our mission is to protect birds and their habitats through land purchase, research, conservation action and community outreach. No support for school or gap year work.

Objects: (A) To Promote The Conservation Of The Physical And Natural Environment By Promoting Biological Diversity, With Particular Reference To The Forests Of South America; And(b) To Promote The Advancement Of Education Through Supporting Original Research In The Sciences Of Zoology, Botany, Ornithology, Entomology, Mammalology And Environmental Science In The Neotropics And Through The Promotion And Dissemination Of Knowledge And Research Findings In These Fields Of Study.
