Chairman’s Report
For the Year Ending 31 October 2025
I am pleased to present the Chairman’s Report for the year ending 31 October 2025.
This has been a very challenging and demanding year for the organisation. A significant amount of time, effort and commitment has been required from the Trustees, Imams, volunteers and members of our community to raise the funds needed to support the organisation and, in particular, to meet the costs of the building extension and ongoing running costs.
The Trustees have worked extremely hard throughout the year, giving their time voluntarily and taking on the responsibility of managing the organisation, its finances and fundraising activities. Their continued commitment has been greatly appreciated.
Our Imams have also played an important role in supporting the fundraising efforts. Through announcements, community engagement and encouraging members to contribute, they have helped keep the community informed and involved.
Most importantly, I would like to thank the members of our community. The generosity shown by individuals and families has been outstanding. Many people have contributed what they could, while others have supported fundraising activities, encouraged others to donate and given their time to help the organisation. Every contribution, whether large or small, has made a difference.
During the year, the organisation raised £121,106.55 in donations and turnover . These funds have allowed us to meet our day-to-day running costs while also making a substantial payment of £110,500 towards the building extension Phase 3
The extension has been a major project for the organisation and has placed significant financial pressure on us. However, the commitment shown by the Trustees and the wider community has enabled us to continue moving forward with this important development.
The year has not been without its difficulties. Rising running costs, the financial demands of the extension and the need to continually raise funds have made this a particularly hard year. Despite these challenges, the Trustees have remained focused on ensuring that the organisation continues to operate responsibly and that the facilities can continue to serve the needs of the community.
I would also like to thank all the volunteers who have supported the organisation throughout the year. Much of the work carried out behind the scenes would not be possible without their time and dedication.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to completing and improving our facilities and ensuring that the organisation remains financially sustainable. We will continue to rely on the support of our Trustees, Imams, members and the wider community to achieve these goals.

The strength of our organisation comes from the commitment and generosity of our community, and together we can continue to build a stronger future for everyone.
