**Objects:** TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, AMONGST HOMELESS PEOPLE:BY THE PROVISION OF AN ADVICE, ASSISTANCE AND EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION SERVICE INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL HOUSING AS DEFINED BY S.68 OF THE HOUSING AND REGENERATION ACT 2008 (HRA) AND ANY OTHER PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH OR INCIDENTAL TO THE PROVISION AND MANAGEMENT OF HOUSING, SOCIAL HOUSING AND ACCOMMODATION FOR SUCH PEOPLE.BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PEOPLE. **Activities:** HARP's mission is to end homelessness in Southend. We provide a range of emergency and longer term supported housing alongside training, support and motivational activities. Through our advocacy and advice we prevent homelessness for those at risk of becoming so, and we address the root causes for those who are already homeless, thereby helping local people overcome homelessness for good.
