The charity aims to enhance the development and musical education of all its members; whether children, young adults and adults. The charity offers appropriate musical education for all members, in accordance with the 2010 equalities act. The charity takes part in many community activities, bringing music to public, private and civic events and bringing musical enjoyment to the wider community.

Objects: The Charity’s aims and objectives are:a) to enhance the development and musical education of its members, open to everyone from the ages of seven years upwardsb) Offering appropriate musical education for all members, regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation in accordance with the 2010 equalities act; c) Furthering the aims of Lostwithiel Town Band
