**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT KNOWN AS WIGAN FLASHES AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO CONSERVATION

**Activities:** Obtaining funding and working on projects that will enhance the Wigan Flashes Nature Reserve, and the nearby Lightshaw Water Meadows Reserve, (parts of The Flashes of Wigan and Leigh National Nature Reserve) for both wildlife and the public.  Maintaining the existing facilities and publicising the Reserves' attractions and events to increase appropriate use and protect their long term viability.
