In March 2025, The Staffordshire Federation ofwomen's Inslitutes received an award from The High Sheriff of
Staffordshi￿. Julia Mitchell, in Eeognilion of great and valuable servi￿ to the communlty.
SFWI continues to support Staffordshir8 Wornen's Aid and their Candlelrt irigil lo mark the International Day for the
Elimination ol Violence Against Wornen and Girfs.
SFWI supported Women'5 Refuge and local fooclbanks with donab.ons ol Dental Hygiene products during the year.

At the Federatson we employ an Admlni5tralor and an A￿untS Cl&rk, both part lime. We employ a cleangr who Èttends
on a fortnisjhtty bas1$.
The Cornerstone Ilhe Fefleralion building and landl 1$ owned by Stalftsrdshlre Fedgration tsf Women's In8litut88. We
have attrac18d some ¢har*lab18 donations, voluntger contributlons and have paid for some lor th8 rnaintenance of
the building and land. It Is our aim lo keep thls buildlng in good working eondltion.
As each ¢ontr8cI for 6frNlc86 In Ihe buildin9 comes up, w8 are taking an opportunity to review Ihe costs and btnefils.
In January 2025. Mrs H818n Mancey was rwlected as Federation Ch81rtnan. Mrs Verlly Conn9T was Te-elected as Vic8
Chairman, and Mrs Janet Moorby was re-81ected as Vl¢e Chalrman. Mrs Beryl Podmore was r8-elecled as Treasurer.

commenls. There are stslls selling food and crarts and high-wofile sp8akers.
The StaffoTd5hlre County Show in May remalns as 8 showcase and advert to the publlc for SFWI. A preview evenlng is
held Ihe evenlng b8for8 for early blrd viewino of the competitions and dlsplays Created by the County Show ¢ommit180.
This attracts a big footl&ll, glving opportunity for the public to rest a while whllst taklng rgfreshrnents.
Th8 input and work from comrnittees Is to be applauded as we have ongdng amazing educatlonal 8V8nts for our
members.
We took part in a Christmas Tree F&st￿l al St Mary's Collegiate Church in St8fford. Members don8tad toothpaste and
we received donations of toothbrushes. We decorated the tree in lin8 Wth the currenl NFWI Campalgn Dental Health
Mattefs. Thes8 Iterns were doThaled to members of th8 Public g+ving us an opporiunily to promote thg Wl in Slaffordshlre.
