**Activities:** RJC promotes restorative justice as a means of resolving conflict and promoting reconciliation in the criminal justice system, schools and workplace and elsewhere in the community in situations here conflict may arise. RJC develops and promotes agreed standards and principles for evaluating and guiding restorative practice and advances and publicises education and research on restorative justice.
