## Friends of Christ the King Fundraising Group Independent Examination for Year Ended 31 August 2022

As requested, I have carried out a review of Friends of Christ the King Fundraising Group accounts for the year ended 31 August 2022. I can confirm the following:

- The cheque book, bank statement and items indicated as cheque payment in the cashbook all balanced.

- All net cash recorded in the event income and expenditure accounts is correctly recorded in the cashbook and has subsequently been paid into the bank account held at Barclays Bank.

- All receipted expenditure has been correctly recorded.

- All interest has been correctly recorded in the cashbook.

- All monthly lottery subscriptions have been received in the bank account at Nat West and have been correctly recorded in the cashbook.

- The cash / bank balances as at 31 August 2022 are confirmed as:

I have attached a summary of the Income & Expenditure for the period and values relating to Gross Income & Expenditure. Gross Income and Expenditure is less than £250,000 for the year and hence you will not be required to produce the accounts on an accruals basis, however, it is greater than £25,000 so you will be required to file your accounts and an annual report with the Charities Commission.

In summary, I would confirm that the accounts of Friends of Christ the King Fundraising Group have again been completed in a very professional manner and overall, from the information available to me, would appear to be an accurate record of income and expenditure.
