## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT
The activities of the church, appointment of the trustees and its powers are defined by the trust deed and the church constitution. The main activity is to provide a place of worship for the members and people working and living around the church location.
The trustees are responsible for the administrative activities of the church, they meet at least twice a year to discuss financial reports and other issues pertaining to the smooth running of the church. Special meetings are called when there is need to discuss special issues that require urgent attention.
## **ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS**
The church continued to enjoy the leashehold property at 2 Gloucester Road, Off Manor Park, LU1 3HX making use of room facilities available; to its full capacity for its activities and also allowing other churches to make use of the facilities
Apart from Sunday and mid-week service, the church also holds training, seminars and care service within the local community.
- 1 In line with the vision of the church, the church continues to provide financial support to sister parishes within the family of Redeemed Christian Church of God who are need Members are provided with Interest free loan within the church's limited resources
- 2 In the area of training, the church continued to provide funding for conferences and seminars for members in the area of biblical teaching, administration and regulatory compliance.
- 3 The church has started monthly programme theme "Feed the community" where the church distributes food to less privileged families within and outside the church and Christmas gifts to all church members and the community. Essential materials and financial support were provided for homeless in the community. Various sporting events and community outreach activities took place during the year which culminated in attending national sports programmes organised by Redeemed Christian Church of God (UK) and worlwide.
## **Future Projects**
- The following projects are being considered for execution in the near future
- Child day care centre
- New Parishes at various locations within Bedfordshire and United Kingdom as a whole
- Resource training centre
- Youth Empowerment Programs

## **Statement of Trustees' responsibilities**
The Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the church, giving accurate report of its financial activities. In preparing the financial statements, the trustees are to ensure the following:
- Proper accounting records were maintained during the year which discloses reasonable and accurate financial position of the church
- Suitable accounting policies were applied consistently.
- Judgements and estimates applied are reasonable and prudent in the preparation of the account
- The fianncial activities of the church were carried out smoothly without irregularities that may hinder its activities.
- The trustees hereby declared that they have carried out their responsibilities effectively in accordance with the requirement of the church constitution and the trust deed.

## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD VICTORY CENTRE FOR ALL NATIONS**
The trustees are responsible for the preparation of the financial statement and for being satisfied with the information presented in the accounts The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not require under section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to examine the accounts together with information and explanations made available to me under section 145 of Charities Act 2011 In accordance with the charities act. I have reviewed the accounting records kept by the church and have had access to all information and received all necessary explanations from the trustees in carrying out the examination.
To the best of my judgement as an independent examiner, no matter has come to my attention during the examination to give cause for concern that proper books of accounts were not kept, or accounting requirements were not complied with in the preparation of the accounts.

## **Accounting Policies**
**1. Basis of Accounting**
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention
## **(b) Income**
Receipts represent collections at Sundays and midweek worship service and to meet adhoc expenses as required
## **(c) Donation in Kind**
The Trustees are not aware of any material donations in kind having been received during the year and which should be reflected in these accounts
## **(2) Church Bus**
The church purchased a minibus in 2011 for transporting church members to church programmes, now fully depreciated. The bus is still in full use
## **(3) Income from Gift Aid**
After the year end 31st December 2023, the charity received income from Gift Aid donations totaling £58,379.12 on 12th January 2024. Gift Aid is a UK government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers, effectively increasing the value of donations.
