**Objects:** FOR PERSONS OF TAMIL ORIGIN IN LONDON TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR IN THE TAMIL LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND HISTORY; TO RELIEVE POVERTY; TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID PERSONS; AND FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

**Activities:** The LTS organises numerous activities and facilitates courses to integrate into British way of life and enhancing community cohesion. Advisory and physical activities through Community Prescription (CCG-NHS), English tuition for Adults, Asian Dress making course, Keep Fit exercise course, Tamil Language school, Elders Luncheon Club, library and Warm Centre for vulnerable adults in the community.
