This year, Carer5 Network Corn￿eted 1.028 Carers Assessments. markirYJ a steady presence in luffilling our
cGYe responsibilities across th8 Cty of Westminster. the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. and the
London e4)rough of Hammersmith & Fulham. Cunpared to the prewus yearfs 1,123 assessments, thi5 refiects
slight decrease, which May underscore broader 5rt*ts1 on seThKe engagement. Yel. our rgach and
impact continue to grow. ￿th a t￿al of 5,620 carers aCce￿ng our Serv￿ this year, a viial 5.4% increase from
last year. Our Infomalion. AdvrrE. and Guidan￿ (IAG) team kndled 1.647 service querie5, providing vasential
support to ¢arer5 nawgating their roles.
One of the most sNJnfftant ind￿t0￿ of our wnpa(l 15 the financial grants for carers, whKh totalled £450,065 for
the Ferio￿n impressive increase of 4.2% from kst yearfs £432.Crf13. Thts finan¢i81 support rep￿sents a
comer51one of our sefyi¢es. ensuring that carers are not onty re¢ognL%ed but also emFrfAvered with resourees
that alleviate some of the financial strain a￿lated with caregr4ing.

proved wpular as they take up ￿s$ ts'me for carers and do not require travel. We ran 166 online actiwl¢es.
including, cre*i¥e vfflttng, mindfulness and yoga and 38 on4ine training sessions. We provthd 12 Carers
forums. During the ￿TVad we had 46 ca￿T coffee mornings. We continue to run a successful male carers s￿1#1
gr(yJp that meets online once a month and recentty wRnt on a group tour of Fulham FC.
For Carers Week we had a busy prcgramme of in*erson events and activiks for carers, induding tours and
tn.ps to The Houses of Parfiamenl Che&ea Phys¢ Garden. Kew Gardens. ChiswKk House, St Paul's C*hedral,
and Bush Theatre. We also hal a ￿CePtKin hosted for us by The Lord IAayor ofweslminsler at WeslmNisterCity
Hall. On Carers Rights Cky we had a comprehensive day of vKrkshops and trwning sessions.

National Lottery Communty Fund (Reaching Communitw Fund). fvnding has enabled us to expand and
offer the service until 2025.

looking after parthers, famity members, frT"ends and neighbours do not seg themselves as carers.
Over the nexl year, we are excited to be working our Lc¢al Authority partners lo co-pr¢)duce a strategy for
carers. Our own strategy will also be refreshed to under￿￿ those of ¢JJr partnern and the carers that we support.

This is a major project running from FeW 2020 to Septen*er 2023. that will Ident￿ 240 hidden and
hard-to-reach Unpa￿ carers in the Cty of Weslminster, the London Borough of Hammersmrth & Fulham and
the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Carers Found will enable people who a￿ exduded
through k8olation or other barr*rs lo live fvffilling lives by offering them ￿rSOnaliS￿ support
in th*r caring role.
A grant of QQ,000 was received from The Garfiekl we$￿ Foundation in February 2020. folh)wed by grants

Inclusive Communications Prosect
In November 2021 a grant of £5.OJO was received from Carw5 Tnjst in sUpp￿t of more inclusive
eommunications for tre Carers Found Proiecl {$ee above}. In close collaborkn.on with tommun
organisth"ons. the project raises awareness among unpaid adutt carers from hpJden and har(l-to4ea
commun¢tss atout their canng role a￿3 corresponding rwjhts and entitlements.
Bizzy8ox Lend5ng Project
This project w launched in March 21y22 to enable unpaid Ca￿rs in the Cty of Weslmin5ter. Londo
Borough of Hammerynith & Fulham and Royal Borough of Ken￿ngton & Chelsea to join an equipment
lending library and bcrn for free a fantastic range of athity products that their cared-for pef50n can enjoy
from the comfort of their own horne. These products. wh￿￿ include puzz￿. comfort Fets. aclivity boards and
hug buddies have been spec*lty designed to hdp those Imng with dementsa. r￿0vering ffom a stroke er
heart attack or living with autsm or a leaming dtsatM"hty.
