**Objects:** TO ADVANCE RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE DIOCESE OF DURHAM AND SPECIFICALLY TO RENEW ANGLICAN CHRISTIANS IN THEIR CHRISTIAN COMMITMENT AND TO DEVELOP THE PRACTISE OF CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES IN THEIR EVERYDAY LIFE SO AS TO HELP OTHERS DISCOVER AND ACHIEVE A CHRISTIAN WAY OF LIFE, BY VARIOUS MEANS INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF SHORT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION COURSES.

**Activities:** Durham Anglican Cursillo is afiliated to British Anglican Cursillo Council (BACC) and operates the Cursillo method within the diocese of Durham and Newcastle.  Established church members are invited to attend Cursillo weekends at which they are encouraged to grow in the christian faith through prayer and study and action.  After the weekend, participants are encouraged to join a reunion group.
