Ihe Somali Senior Citizen Club was establishcd in MaTch, 2002 with the aim of promoting health and well-
beingi of eldcrly Somali people in East London and tts provide support to the coinmunity in thcir soiial and

FINANCIAL REVIEW AND PERFORMANCE
The trustees consider the performance of ihe charity during the year is salisfa¢lory. However, an
increased level of funding i5 required in ord¢r to Sustsin coniinued popularity in lunch club services
and maintain a prudent level of reserve to support its contujuing activllies.
STATEMEIYT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES

A¢cording to the provisions of the Charities Act 2016, the ¢rustees agree thai an audit is nv¢ required for
this financial year,. however. dtse to the provisions of the same act an independent examiner is required.
Mr Mohammed Shahidullah of Shahidullah & Co (Chartered Certified Accountants) will be appctinled as
an independent examiner for the ensuing year.
