times and is staffed by well-qu81ified people.
The Pebbles Parent and Toddler Group opens on Monday and Tuesday
momlngs each V￿ek durlng term times and Is staffed by one of our Early
Years Practltioners supported by a group of voluntsers.

In January 2024 thwe was a new commlttee member. Kathy Mount. In JUW, the
CtrHirperson. Jo Koopmans resKJned atr many years of diliwt and praywtsl
leadership. Kathy Mount stepped up as Acting Chairperson unlll the AGM in
January 2025.

The Garden r6ceived a Good OFsfED ratlng In all areas In May 2024 after many
months of work and extra training by the Staff. A very well done to the
Manag8r and the staff for continulng to provlde a nurturing ￿VIrOnMent vthere

The staffing structure was changwJ to ils curr*rt situation of hav6ng 1 dewty
and 2 room18ad& instead of 2 deptst￿ Tharè was a180 Ihe appointment of 1
new staff member and 2 SUp￿Y staff.
The vlsth for the Presthool was revised invofving the ccwnmittee and the staff.
The nwnber of Childr￿ we have has fWatsd I￿O￿ghOUl the yw.
At the start of 2024 a group of apm1C￿ from Falmouth docks came and
worked in the outdoor play area h)creaslng the amount of artfficial grass in the
I￿r play Th6y also created a small patio area, givlng the chI￿ren mor8
hard surfaces to pky on in the winter. A group of volunteers from the cthnmitte6
d par￿ also ￿me and palnted fences and cr6Rted other psay Opportun￿￿$
In the outdoor space.

onts is seeking Sp￿sOr8 for a marathon to rffovlde a new pty surface and

fvll to capacity. A Saturday Pop up Pebbles was held In Decemb8r for dads to

The reserrfes that we plan to set aside will provide financial stsbillty and
means for the development of our principal adtvity.
We Intend to work towards maintaining our reserves at a level which is at
least equivalent to three months of income.

The Re*rfctsd Fund reflects payments and grants we have received to
support our chlldren with special education ne8ds andlor living in a
deprived area. Admlssion Charge5 relate to income from our Pebbles
Parent and Toddl8r Group.
We continue to be an accredited Ltving Wage Employer. The UK Real
Livlng Wage increased to £12.OOph (+10OA)- ￿ National Llving Wage
£10.￿. Whllst CouncAI funding <70% of our income) rose by 10% for 2
year old children, the uplift for 34 year olds was only 5%.
Agalnst this background, we are satlsffed with the financial outcome for
this year.
