Main achievements of the Charity
In its 51" year of caring and educating young children in Eltharn. Playwell once
more provided a Simulating wxl edu(at•onal environment for those in tts care.
This year saw a new innty4atlon whereby the children were able to interncf with
the older folk in our Community. The Ffierthip CeTrt￿ whith is adjacent to the
Prexhool holds a weekly lunth dub for penwner& This year the children went
into the Lunch Club to sing Harvest son8s and deliver homemade cakes to the
pensionerk They then Jolned tozether playin£ games and doing puule&
Thi5 was a great sucoss brinrin8 much Joy to your¥ wxl old allke and will surety be
repeated.
Flne weather allowed us to take the children to nearby Eltharn Park and feed the
ducks (always a powlar tiw* for y(￿n￿ter$I dimb trees tiust the very small
trees).
Varlous themes were explored duri￿ the year. Firework night was ￿lebrated in
palntin8s and drawiry* Ch•nese P4ew Year aNI Divali too were observed

always well attended 8lvinz many parents and carers the opportunlty to remember
their own perfonnances In days of old. The Chrlstsiw Party and the arrlval of
Father Christmas brought the year to a festlve and happy condusS0n.
