Hampton Community Sports Association Annual General Meeting - Chairman’s Annual Statement 2024/25
Another successful year as the centre continues to offer a wide and vital range of recreation activities for Hampton residents largely due to the dedicated work of the Trustees , Management Committee and volunteers so just wanted to pass on my thanks to everyone involved to help keep the centre going throughout the year.
Maintenance of the site continues to be challenging once again and the committee continue to ensure that the facility is safe to be used by all our users.
The committee are still able to deliver low as well as free sessions to several community groups to ensure the whole community can benefit from the facilities. I am pleased to see that the Peterborough Macedonian Community has chosen to use the facilities for a number of their activates and we hope to build on this relationship
Chas: - Vice Chairman has supported me in my role as Chair and identifying opportunities for improvements.
Alan – continue to bring his experience as an accountant to bear and as such ensure we remain on a firm financial platform
Kevin – Site security – Thank you to his efforts to keep the site secure and opening and closing the facility when required.

Independent examiner’s report to the trustees of Hampton Community and Sports Association
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Hampton Community and Sports Association for the year ended 30 November 2025.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner’s statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
