## **Hampton Community Sports Association Annual General Meeting - Chairman’s Annual Statement 2021/22** ## **Introduction** Taking over the role from previous Chair (Chas Ryan) has been challenging but I feel that I have managed to step into his shows, thus ensuring the continued success of the association and hopefully to begin to build a legacy of my own. Luckily the previous chair has agreed to remain on the committee as the Vice Chair and so welcome his support over my term as the chair. Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us I am hoping we can ensure the association goes from strength to strength. And as proof the centre has now reached near full capacity during the week and in fact we are having to turn groups away as we do not have enough availability to satisfy the needs of the community. To this end the association will be looking at the possibility of turning the under used Hardcourt area into a multi-use playing surface so that we can bring more grass roots football to Hampton.
